A very successful internet marketing strategy is to start your own newsletter and build your own list of subscribers. You will then be able to promote your products through your own list at zero cost. All the experts agree that "The Money Is In The List".

As soon as you begin to get traffic to your site, you need to have an email sign up form on your pages to start building your list. You must give your visitors compelling reasons (what's in it for them) to subscribe to your newsletter.

* Send out your weekly / monthly newsletter to all subscribers

The way to achieve all this, is to subscribe to a third party autoresponder service. Most providers of this kind of service offer both free and paid subscriptions. Like most free services you get less functionality and they display their own ads in your newsletter. You can get a good autoresponder service for under $20 a month from a number of reputable companies.

Getting Content For Your Newsletter

The important thing is to make sure that you give your subscribers quality information on the topics that they signed up for! Getting content for your newsletter is not difficult and you can try some of these methods:

* Write your own original articles

* Use articles from Article Directories, with the resource box intact

* Use ghost writers to write your articles

* Purchase private label articles and modify the content

Tip: Never promote products that are unrelated to your newsletter as this will be seen as spamming. Also, provide an unsubscribe link to make it easy for anyone who no longer wishes to receive your newsletter.

It's always wise to subscribe to a few popular newsletters yourself, so you can see how other successful marketers are doing it.
